Dennis,

Can you program the ESC key to immediately stop and flush CW macro sending? That would be a nice enhancement. Major contesting programs such as N1MM and WriteLog both do that.

Thanks,

I would very much like to see this enhancement as well.

Thanks for considering it Dennis.

Dennis,

I feel this proposed change is a good idea. Please include
it in an upcoming version of Logic

Sounds good to me! We may have to use some other key besides Esc as that is already used in various contexts depending on what you are doing at the time.

Thanks guys.

Ok, the {Esc} key does work, but ONLY WHEN THE KEYER WINDOW IS ACTIVE (the current window). If you are in the log screen, {Esc} does Undo as usual. So the plan now is to allow the user to assign a function key to Cancel.

Meanwhile, there is a Cancel button on the keyer toolbar. Click the C.

Tnx & 73,

Yes, I noticed that this morning! Would it be possible to program the {Esc} key to always stop the keyer no mater what window is open? Even if it also does Undo when other windows are open, that's ok, too.?

Then LOGic would be consistent with contesting programs like N1MM. I really do not want to program a function key for that, I already use all the the function keys for CW messages.
