Please try downloading the update again. If that doesn't fix it, Go here http://distribution.hosenose.com/public/ and download the SlimDX runtime, and run it. This is the same package that is included in the update. See if that installs OK. SlimDX should already be installed on your system. This error shouldn't prevent the 10.0.9 from installing.
