How do I export VE province info to ADIF? Right now, the field does not appear consistently in all VE records in the ADI. For example:
<call:6>VE3YXO <qso_date:8:d>20200319 <time_on:6>224145 <time_off:6>224305 <rst_sent:3>-24 <rst_rcvd:3>-16 <name:14>ANDRE CHICHKIN <qth:9>THORNHILL <mode:3>FT8 <freq:7>14.0764 <band:3>20M <dxcc:1>1 <qsl_via:4>LOTW <operator:4>N7IP <gridsquare:6>FN03HT
The both the dxcc and province are correctly shown in the log as VE and ON. But they are not exported.
Thanks, Bob

Hi--
Make sure ADIF Export is turned on for VE Prov. Go to tools/setup/log fields, spotting.... Navigate to the VE PROV field. On the ADIF tab, make sure that Export is enabled.
Same for DXCC. Strange that isn't being exported tho. And DXCC is being exported for other countries?
Send me a backup copy of your log. Post it here or email to me at the address shown at hosenose.com.
Let me know what you find.
Tnx & 73,

Dennis JTAlert is not recognizing VE province info in exported ADI files. As I understand it, VE_PROV was replaced in ADIF 2.1.4 in June 2003 which seems to be the first version 2 ADIF publication. It does appear in ADIF 1.0.
I hoping you can change the Logic ADI export so it conforms to the current spec. Replace <VE_PROV:2> with <STATE:2>
Thanks, Bob

LOGic will currently import VE provinces tagged as State.
Will look into export.

Dennis, it is the export function that needs to change.

Dennis, per my original note here, the exported tag for VE provinces is out of date (obsolete). Logic needs to tag the provinces as state. It does not do that now. That's what needs to change.

Right -- I am working on it. Will be a few days more. Sorry.
Meanwhile, edit the ADIF file with Notepad, and mass-change VE PROV: to STATE:, then upload.

This is ready for you to try: http://gofile.me/5sBhf/3J14vDLs7
Here is a bit of technical info on how this works. You may now select the same ADIF NAME for more than one field in Tools/Setup/Logfields. So enter STATE in the ADIF NAME for LOGic's VE PROV and STATE fields. There is a new DXCC STATE field in the Logfields table. Enter the numeric ARRL DXCC code for any field that is associated with a particular country. If the same ADIF name is used for more than one field, LOGic will look at this field to determine where to import the data into. Enter the DXCC numeric code here. VE PROV is 1 (Canada). STATE is 291 (USA). Let me know! Tnx & 73, Dennis WN4AZY
