So, not sure what LOGic is doing when it imports, but there is a good bit missing.

Example; if you download the spreadsheet outside of LOGic, and open it in Excel or equivalent, the first 5000+ entries are US-XXXXX. If you try to look up US-XXXXX in the drop down once you have a pota field on the main log form it comes back nothing found. I have the field width expanded to 10 charcters. If you look down the dropdown list via scrolling, US doesn't exist. Do I need to delete something prior to import? Any ideas?

OK, been messing around. When I look up the missing data via tools/setup/lists of valid values, I see all of it. How do I get my pota userfield on the main log form to access it?

Hi Doug:

I was getting a 403 FORBIDDEN error from their server. I and to add a USER-AGENT header to my request. If you had a version of LOGic prior to .30, you may not have seen the error. But it wasn't downloading anything.

At any rate, I uploaded the update this morning, and am not seeing the problem you describe. All looks good here. Please download and install .30 again, then rerun the POTA import. You might try going to tools/list of valid values, and deleting the POTA list before doing the import. I did not have POTA in my database when I tested, so deleting the list first would mimic my test environment. Look in tools/list of valid values to see if US-... is included.

Dennis, I think I may have found the issue. The address you are pulling from is incorrect, and it loads an old file. The giveaway is all us parks are now 5 digit, because there are that many of them. The file address required is pota.app/all_parks_ext.csv The address logic is pulling from is missing the first underscore, so it looks like pota.app/allparks_ext.csv Using the updated address, it pulls the proper file. I just can't do anything with it that way.
You have to change the address its looking at.

The URL as displayed in LOGic is incorrect. It is dropping the first _ from the DSIPLAY only. However, the actual URL IS correct, as can be seen by clicking the URL. pota.app/allparks_ext.csv returns an error and downloads nothing. (I was unable to fix this. I modified it so you have to hover your mouse over the text to see the actual URL. This change has not been uploaded.)

That said. there is a problem. The file that you download has 76,886 records including the header. LOGic has only 15418 records. So still working on it.

ETA I reran the import with "process new records only." It said it imported another 200 or so records, but now LOGic has all 76,884 records in in it.

It's working flawlessly now. I don't THINK there have been anything other than cosmetic changes, but to make sure I uploaded the latest compile.

Please download and install the .30 update again.

Let me know! Specifically, how many POTA entries do you have? (Tools/Setup/List of Valid Values.)
