Hi Dennis,
I should update my running Membership Database with ASC value (the Italian equivalent of the German DOK) to update the QSOs entered in Logic with adif transfer after flagging the Membership field.
I used this procedure because it is not possible to edit or add anything in the Membership view-only window:
In SETUP/MEMBERSHIP LIST I displayed the ASC database and entered the new data of the members of my ARI Club. Once the archive was updated I proceeded to re-index it but I saw that the CALL was placed at the end of the list and not ordered as the others for CALL.
By entering the new member in my log the ASC field is not updated.
Surely I made a mistake in some passage.... but where???
Maybe I need to create a new database and insert it as data in the Membership department?

PLease post some screen shots illustrating the error. Also, send me the data. You can send what you imported, and/or the .DBF export from the Memberships form.

thanks for replay and we are the requested files attachment with notes inside. I hope can help You. I will send You my dbf archive extracted from my actual Logic system.
With new entry members the database must be updated but how have I to do to be usable as the first time I created it?

Sorry for the delay on this. I started working on it this morning.

You sent me the memberships table, which looks good. It lists callsigns and their ASC numbers.

You also need a Lists table for ASC. In tools/setup/list of valid values. A list of all ASC numbers and their description. Please send that also.

Hi Dennis,
I attach what you requested. I believe it is correct, also because it has always worked.
It doesn't work on CALL which I added as new members i.e. IU0ERZ and IU0OPT. I don't understand why and I was wondering how I should go about making updates to an existing database. Thank you.

That isn't correct. There are many duplicate records. See the attached screen shot. Each VALUE, i.e. A01, should only appear once. If you enter the data manually, LOGic will prevent you from doing this. If you import it from an external source, this check is not preformed.

I can remove the duplicates. How many ASC's are there? Is there an ASC web site?

Hi Dennis,
the ASC table consists of 304 records with their own values, all different and complete with description which contains both the reference city and the Club's HQ Call.
Perhaps you are referring to the other archive which refers to the membership database where there are the calls of Italians who are members of the various Radio Clubs. Therefore only the call must be unique while several different calls can belong to the same club e.g. IK0CHU R20, IU0IKZ R20, IU0OPT R20.
Obviously the ASC R20 value is repeated and the modification cannot occur directly. I also tried adding the new members of my Club directly to an Excel file and then transforming it into DBF to import it into Logic but it didn't work. For this reason I was asking how to ensure that I can always update my archives which will allow me to fill in the ASC fields automatically when entering QSOs in real time and with the adif transfer.
I attach the file in question.
