Dennis, et al: I have a number of POTA logs that have the Special Interest Group fields MY_SIG_INFO, MY_SIG & SIG_INFO. I would like these fields to be mapped to fields with the same name in LOGic. I can't figure out how to do that. I also want to place these fields in my MAIN log form. That part should be easy, once I figure out how do the mapping. Perhaps, this has to await an update to the program itself. One reason this is important is that filtering on MY_SIG_INFO is necessary for LOTW uploads to insure that they are recorded as being in the correct location. For the record, MY_SIG_INFO is the POTA park number (e.g, K-1994); MY_SIG is simply the designation of the QSO being a "POTA" contact & SIG_INFO is the other party's POTA park number in the case of a Park-to-Park or Hunter log. As always, any help greatly appreciated! -- 73 de Carl N8VZ

Hi--

This sounds like a simple user-defined field setup.

Let me know if this isn't what you need.

Dennis, yes that was what I needed, at least to a point. It had been a long time since I had added a userfield, and I needed that refresher. However, once I set up the Main Log Form the way I wanted it, I had to reimport my POTA logs before the new userfields would be imported. The first one went FB. However, on trying to import the second of the three files (each containing multiple activations), the program hickuped and I got Error 1426 ("No such interface supported'). I tried the import multiple times and it would start OK, and after about the first 10 percent or so of the ADIF file was imported this message would pop up. This same file imported FB earlier, so I have no idea what might have happened. I guess I need further guidance. -- 73 de Carl N8VZ

Here's a look at what my MAIN Log Form looks like now:

Ok, please send me the ADIF file.

Do you have the latest 10.0.26 update to LOGic? Even if you do, try reinstalling the update.

I apologize for the delay in getting back to you.
