Qrz changed thier web site again, i am getting some errors.
do i have to change set up?

Yes, they changed it again. We will have to change LOGic.

For now, just disable it. Open the Callbook form (Click Forms/Callbook). Click the SETUP button on the Callbook form. Click QRZ. Click DISABLE.

The XML subscription still works, BTW.

Turn off the French Union too while you are at it. They changed that too. It will be fixed also. However, a lot of French calls are not in this database.

We had one call where LOGic was locking up and didn't time out after waiting a reasonable amount of time, and was unable to disable the QRZ callbook. Here is a config file with QRZ.COM disabled.

To install, exit LOGic. Save the attached file to the LOGDATA folder inside your LOGIC8 install, replacing the existing file CALLBOOKS.DBF.

Hello,

Exactly the same here for Buckmaster with a message error:

ERROR: YOUR GOLD HAMCALL MEMBERSHIP EXPIRED 00-0000, SO YOUR MEMBERSHIP HAS REVERTED TO BASIC. BASIC MEMBERSHIPS DO NOT EXPIRED.

By the way we did also save attached file to the LOG DATA folder inside my LOGICS install, which replace the existing file CALLBOOKS.DBF.

We will wait to see what we can do in the future, as now we have to enter manually each QSO data, i.e. grids, zones, continent etc...

Well, we are not talking about the same thing. This discussion is about QRZ.COM, which you do not need a subscription for.

If you renew your Buckmaster subscription I think it will be OK. Is your subscription current?

You should not have to manally log Continent. That will get looked up from the prefix table 99.999% of the time from the prefix table. Most CQ zones will too, except for large countries that span multiple zones. Even then, it is often broken down by call area.

Well, LOGic 8 started working again, but now puts the callsign in the name. QRZ.COM is still a'changin' stuff! I waited for three weeks to fix LOGic 9, but it appears that even that was premature :-)
