LP Step Link by telepost interfaces via DDE with TRX Manager (according to their web site) in order to allow the antenna to track the radio, does this also work with Logic? If not is there an alternative? I have 2 radios so a simple Y cable would only allow one to track correctly, I would like to be able to have either track without changing cables. Anyone else try this?
My Steppir is the latest control box SDA100.

G'Day,

I don't have one myself. But ...

There is no interface for LP-Step, or Steppir in LOGic itself.

But LOGic does have an interface to TRX Manager.

As you use your mouse to change the frequency on the radio interface dialogue, LOGic will tell TRX Manager the new frequency, which in its turn will tell LP-Step, which will drive the RS232 to the Steppir controller to manage the antenna. If the radio is next to the PC, just use the radio and push the buttons.

Remember that TRX Manager does not function if it is "minimized". You will need a lot of screen real estate to run LOGic and TRX-Manager at the same time - dual/triple monitors are best. Then you can use the full funtion of TRX-Manager to manage the radio and use LOGic for logging the QSOs.
