Hi Dennis,

I have a new PC and I'm sure LOGic 9 ran OK with Windows 8. Now, with Windows 8.1, I get 2 errors:

OLE 0x800A139b Unknown COM Status

and

GLOBAL is not an object.

It definitely sees the COM port to my rig because LOGic displays the correct frequency.

I reinstalled from CD and re-applied the 61 update and still have the problem.

Any thoughts/suggestions?

Thanks,

Hi--

I think this is the problem:

http://hosenose.com/Foru...-9-update.aspx#post3449

(COM = Common Object Module -- nothing to do with Com ports hihi).

Watch your email -- I will send you a new install tonite.

73 & Merry Xmas,
