Hi Dennis,

Is support for this device in your plans?

As PCs with parallel ports die off, this device allows continued use of the "parallel port" functions to be carried forward on a USB port.

Now that "tablets" are replacing "lap-tops", and given "lap-tops" have been replacing desktops for several years now, the writing must be "on the wall" for the parallel port hardware registers.

I understand Logic would drive the device using a specified protocol rather than "set bits" in status registers.

It looks easy enough. I will explore this further. Do you have one?

Thanks,

Dennis

G'Day,

No, I do not own one at the moment. I'm am exploring ideas.

I am interested in the bits that idicate which radio I am currently using to switch headphones, mic, key etc.

Do not make implementation a priority just for me - not just yet anyway.

I have other ideas to explore before I commit to anything.
