Hi Dennis,

Hope you, Fei and yours are staying safe during this difficult COVID-19 time?

To log satellite QSOs, I've been using a custom log form with several user fields added. SATNAME and SAT_MODE.

Most satellites operate in split mode. For the frequencies, Freq and Freq_TX are standard. However, I would like to export BAND_RX (which is created as a custom user field.

The ask here is the ability to populate the band information using a drop down menu, as is already the case for the standard Band field.

If this is something that can be set up on the user end, please explain.

Thanks es 73.

Hi Bob:

You can do what you want now.

Go to your BAND_RX field in tools/setup/log fields. Checkmark EDIT USING LISTS TABLE.

Now go to the Lists form (there is a button for this to the right of Description. Add new records to the Lists form, one for each BAND_RX. The field name will be BAND_RX. VALUE will be the band. Let me know if any questions. There is help on adding user-defined fields with dropdowns.

We are doing OK. Just taking precautions but pretty much going about our business. My mother was sick, but I don't think it was COVID-19. She wasn't too sick, and got over it in a few days. Our son and daughter-in-law have something and are pretty sick, but started improving today. Don't know if is COVID-19 or not. He had whatever was going around in '13, and that was much worse.

Laurent, F6DEX was officially diagnosed with COVID-19. He is almost better.

Tnx & 73,
