This is a letter from Fabrizio describing how to interface DXTelnet to LOGic
5.
DXTelnet inner DDE mechanism works fine with 16 bit applications but
sometimes has troubles with 32.
I made a special tool to fix this problem named DDEDUPE. DXTelnet passes its
spots to DDEDUPE which sends them to the wanted application.
DDEDUPE.EXE is in the C:\DXTELNET\DDEDUPE directory.
If this directory is not present in your DXTelnet you should downoload the
latest DXTelnet version (4.91) from
http://www.qsl.net/wd4ngb/telnet.htm
Step by step:
Start DXTelnet, click the "Configuration" menu then
"Links"
In the DDE section set exename to
DDEDUPE
set linktopic to
DDETOPIC
set linkitem to
DDEITEM
Press Save, and quit DXTelnet.
Now start DDEDUPE and set ExeName to
LOGIC
set LinkTopic to
DXTELNET
set LinkItem to any value
Press the Apply button in DDEDUPE.
Now if you start DXTelnet and connect to any node while DDEDUPE is running
and start LOGIC, spots should flow in.
Ciao
