Windows NT Issues

Special libraries are needed to make LOGic's CW keying, PTT, and spot announcement in CW thru the computer speaker requre special libraries for Windows NT. The standard C-language calls to access hardware are not supported in NT.

Here are instructions on installing the NT libraries update. This update will work on any version of LOGic, 5.0 or later. In future versions the installation of these libraries will be automatic.

Open your LOGic5 folder. Rename MORSE.FLL to MORSE98.FLL.
Download MORSENT.ZIP.
Unzip MORSENT into your LOGic5 folder.
Open your LOGic5 folder. Double-click MORSENT.REG

Copy WINRTX.DLL into your WINNT/SYSTEM32 folder.
Copy WINRT.SYS into your WINNT/SYSTEM32/DRIVERS folder.
Run the DOS command prompt. CD into your WINNT/SYSTEM32 folder. Type:

REGSVR32 WINRTX.DLL

We have also had reports of an error "MORSENT.PRG not found" when using the voice keyer PTT feature. If you experience this, put a copy of MORSENT.FLL into the \WINNT\SYSTEM32 folder.
