What does this update include?
(Build 5.3.128 (again) Nov 13, 2001)
- MIXW interface now supports the MIXW delete button. If you add a QSO
in MIXW, then erase it, LOGic will perform an Undo. You must get the
latest MIXW, or LOGic will generate errors!
(Build 5.3.128 Oct 3, 2001)
- Support for MixW multimode communications program.
- Yaesu FT-817 interface (not tested)
- Better error reporting. Errors are logged to ERRORLOG.DBF and
ERRORLOG.FPT. PDA may ask for them for assistance in
troubleshooting. You may delete these files--they will be recreted
when needed.
- Problems related to errors in Japanese versions of windows may be fixed.
- Radio Memory and Rotor Control Head window status saved and restored
on startup.
- New Change size of log fields Misc utility automatically updates
the size of Actual Mode in the Modes table.
- Fixed bug where error would occur if using the Confirm Saving Changes
option (tools/options), and quitting LOGic without saving.
- Grid square is not logged for portable calls.
(Build 5.3.127 Jun 14, 2001)
- Improvement in Cabrillo export. You may now enter expressions for
the transmitted exchanges as well as the received exchanges. This is
necessary because sometimes the serial# goes in the serial# field, and
sometimes it goes in the tx exchange field.
The expressions are entered in log/setup/contest/cabrillo. Leave the
TX exchange fields blank and it will prompt for the exchange values as
before. There are new fields for RX exchange expressions.
Previously, it used the expressions for printing exchange info in the
contest report, and permitted modification when exporting. In most
cases, you can copy the report expressions here.
Get the new WPX
logform.
(Build 5.3.125 Apr 25, 2001)
- Scroll lock option on spot log prevents scrolling when new spot is
received.
- Second instance of DX Summit web cluster added. See the Forms menu.
- Report writer now permits full Visual FoxPro language in scripts.
- You can now change fonts in the Awards Progress List and the forms related
to the awards progress report.
- New command line parameter REPORT= changes default report folder. Create a
shortcut to LOGic.EXE, and modify it. After LOGIC.EXE in the Target
entry, put a space followed by REPORT=, then the report path. Here is
an example of what the modified shortcut target:
C:\LOGIC5\LOGIC.EXE REPORT=C:\USR\MYLOGICREPORTS
- Support for the Ten-Tec Omni 5 with N4PY's Omni 5.9 mod.
- Problem exporting to Cabrillo format fixed. The 160M band was
exported improperly if the frequency was not logged.
- Fixed problems with Pegasus and Paragon interface when setting band and
mode simultaneously.
- Fixed problem with losing spots from TNC when not connected.
(Build 5.3.122 Feb 13, 2001)
- Now considers the cutoff date for WAS in tools/update progress info for
grid squares also.
(Build 5.3.120 Jan 24, 2001)
- Fixed problem exporting VHF bands in Cabrillo format.
- Fixed problem in Filter screen. Doing a Clear before setting a
filter, then adding a record would cause an error.
(Build 5.3.119 Dec 26, 2000)
- New feature to turn matching of portable/mobile callsigns on and off in
the Other QSOs window.
(Build 5.3.118 Dec 12, 2000)
- Fix problems with Cabrillo. Do not export ON and OFF records, put
comments in CREATED-BY records instead of SOAPBOX. Fixed formatting
of frequency--removed decimal. Tnx N5KO.
- Added three decimal places to PWR for ultra-QRP fans. To utilize
this feature, you must change the database with tools/misc
utilities/change size of log fields.
- Support for Create RC5A-x rotor (SARtek
needed).
(Build 5.3.117 Nov 30, 2000)
- Fix problem with DigiPan interface. LOGic was not
picking up info when double-clicking to log in DigiPan.
To use the interface Start DigiPan, then run LOGic. Go to the Log menu and click DigiPan
Interface. Any log data captured by DigiPan will be automatically logged
in LOGic.
Be sure to click the Save button in DigiPan before pressing the Clear button
to start a new QSO. If you make changes to DigiPan's data, and click
Clear, LOGic will perform an Undo.
Be sure to download
the latest DigiPan.
- Fix problem with spot long sometimes showing improper
direction.
- Fix problem with setting rig by clicking on a DX spot on the
map. When the control panel decimal was set to a comma instead
of a period (as common in Europe and elsewhere), kilohertz were ignored. For
example, if the spot frequency were 14.123, the rig would be set to 14.000.
