Build 5.1.115 (Apr 12, 1999)
New driver for the Yaesu FT-847 with the new ROM. This interface will read the frequency and mode into LOGic.
Fixed problem with assigning serial#s when force-logging a dupe in contest mode. A serial number was not assigned. It should be.
Fixed a problem in the Radio Amateur Callbook interface where if you look up a call with no address line, the address from the previous lookup was used. This problem existed only when not using the PDA supplement.
Build 5.1.106 (Feb 26, 1999)
Fixed problems with Kenwood interfaces. Tuning and split now work. Added Sub-receive button. This button is labeled "dual" to have a consistent interface with other interfaces that offer this feature. Note that not all Kenwood rigs have dual receive.
Build 5.1.97 (Jan 4, 1999)
New menu option on Log Menu to speed checking in QSL cards.
Clicking the Worked Before checkmark opens the Other QSOs window.
New rig driver for Icom 756 & 775 split mode. This should work for other Icom rigs that have Main/Sub VFOs instead of VFO A/B. The A/B VFO buttons select Main/Sub respectively. However, the capability to computer-select VFOs is apparently not supported by the 775.
Split support for IC-735, so far as possible. LOGic will set the current and opposite VFOs appropriately. You must push the SPLIT button manually. IMPORTANT: The IC-735 does not support computer-control of Split. After starting LOGic, press the VFO A or B button in LOGic so that LOGic knows which VFO you are using. Use only the VFO buttons in LOGic to change VFO. This rig cannot return the VFO is use to the computer.
Fixed bug in generating ARRL contest export file.
Backup displays the drive used upon completion.
New text on the callbook setup window reminds you to open the callbook form to enable the interface, and to close it to disable the interface.
When attempting to access a bad port (such as when Opening tools/Setup/Misc Ham Setup), error code 31 was displayed. The description GENERAL DEVICE FAILURE has been added.
The multiple QSO QSL card/label extract now includes NAME for use in your custom reports.
Fixed display problems: Info Form at 640x480 resolution and Japanese Windows. Callbook form in Japanese Windows.
Build 5.1.76 (Sept 28, 1998):
New RTTY contests BARTG and JARTS. These run only on LOGic 5.1.76 or later. There is a new function to extract call areas, which are multipliers for these contests.
Following is documentation for this function. You don't need to understand this to use these contests!
CALL_AREA(CALL, DXCC_PFX, LIST)
First parameter is the callsign, the second is the DXCC prefix. The third parameter is a list of permissible DXCC prefixes. If this parameter is included, and the DXCC_PFX parameter is not in this list, this function will return an empty string. This is needed because in both of these contests, only K, VE, VK, an JA call areas count as multipliers. For example:
CALL_AREA("WN4AZY", "K", "K,JA,VE,VK") returns "K4".
CALL_AREA("M2ABC", "G", "K,JA,VE,VK") returns "" because G is not in the list.
Build 5.1.72 (Sept 23, 1998):
Fixed bug where Yaesu FT990, JST245, and a few other rig control panels would not remember hidden/visible status when exiting and restarting.
Build 5.1.71 (Sept 15, 1998):
Fixed bug with multiple QSO QSL card and label reports. Was occasionally printing duplicate QSO records. Fixed problem with reindexing foreign language file.
Build 5.1.70 (Sept 8, 1998):
Fixed bug when accessing log/real-time from the browse window. Fixed bug where broadcast spot would not send to terminal. Modified backup routine so that ZipMagic would not interfere with it (old backups are still compatible). Force recalculation of DX and Direction when doing a CLEAN or installing an update.
Build 5.1.61 (Sept 1, 1998):
New feature to optionally use the {Enter} key to add new record (Normally it activates the browse window). Select this option in Log/Setup/General
New feature to turn real-time mode on and off from the log menu.
Progress 1 and Progress 2 displays now automatically display progress after using Search function. You no longer have to use the OK button.
Bug fixes: Problem with RTTY mode in ICOM fixed. Kachina and FT-Manager options added to radio interface menu. Error message when posting split-frequency spot fixed.
