| Expert technical support is available to our customers. Here is some
helpful information for obtaining technical assistance.
We solicit comments and suggestions for improving our software to best
meet your needs. You may email your suggestions and comments to
us.
Our manuals assume that you understand the basics of using your
computer--running programs, using the mouse, and manipulating windows for instance. If you
are new to computers, we highly recommend taking a few hours to review your Windows
documentation and becoming familiar with your computer.
This web site has a wealth of information that cover most tech
support questions. Check out these pages for updates and help with particular topics:
You may search our entire site.
This is often the fastest way to find the info you need.
FTP site
You can download demos of our products, patches, and other files such as contests and
reports from our download site.
Email
You may email your question for a prompt response.

Please state your software version, your first and
last name and callsign, and a complete
description of the problem or your question. Please ask specific questions. For
example, if you ask a generic question like "How do I interface my rig to
LOGic?" all we can do is refer you to the documentation included with the
program or our web site.. If we can't explain it well in the
manual, we probably can't do any better on the spur of the moment when answering your
email :-). Instead, tell us what error messages you are getting if any, rig you are using,
which com port is free, what you have tried so far, etc., and we can help.
If you are encountering problems, please quote any error messages you
receive, and what actions you take to create the error.
When replying to your email, we will include a copy of your message in our
reply. Please do likewise. We do not keep copies of messages
after replying to them, and it is convenient to have a complete record in one place.
All email programs have an option to include the original message in your reply.
Please attach any files or screen shots that might help us help you.
Telephone
For fastest assistance, dial 770-307-1496. While phone tech
support is generally available during our normal business hours, this number is answered
only when technicians are available. If you receive no answer, please try again later.
Support is often available evenings and weekends, so don't hesitate to try calling
us at any time. We do not accept tech support calls at our main number!
However, if you are unsuccessful reaching anyone at the tech support number, you may
call the office at 770-307-1511 to ask when tech support will be available. If you prefer,
we can schedule a time in the evening for you to call.
When calling, please be at your computer and have it turned on!
Email reflector & LOGic Yahoo Group
The Logic Reflector
and LOGic Yahoo Group is
available to communicate with other LOGic users. These are a good place to
ask questions and share ideas with other LOGic users, or look
for LOGic users in your area.
Mail
If you are reading this, you probably have no reason to use snail-mail,
but if you do mail us anything, especially diskettes, make sure that it is labeled with
your name or callsign. Never send your only copy of something! -- always keep a
backup copy. Mail to Attn: LOGic Tech Support at the address on our home page.
However, it highly preferable to email files as attachments. It
is faster, cheaper, and your data will not get erased by mail handling
equipment. If you do not know how to email a file, read your email program's
documentation. It isn't hard.
