There is a considerable delay from getting the data from the FCC, through the publisher in USA, to Germany for programming and manufacture, back to the publisher, then to the dealers! The PDA update database contains over 5,800  new callsigns and address changes, making the US and possessions data current through November, 1998.  The update database may be accessed with LOGic 4 or 5, or a standalone Windows interface.

We will also provide periodic updates which  our callbook customers may download at no charge. LOGic 5 updates itself directly from the internet by choosing a menu option. The latest update to the Summer 1998 CD contains nearly 25,000 new calls!

Included with the update database is an access program that incorporates the supplemental database with the CD-ROM data. Personal Database Applications has been producing quality software since 1986. This software features:

• Easy lookup. Just enter the callsign and press {Enter}.
• Automatic copy of information to clipboard for pasting into other applications. Info is formatted properly for address label, with option to include or exclude callsign. Address may be easily edited before copying or printing.
• Label printing directly from lookup program. (Requires Windows-compatible printer with driver that supports user-defined size or label. This includes most dot-matrix printers and printers that support continuous forms.) Customizable label size, font, and font size.
• Latest interface drivers for LOGic.
• The PDA lookup program does not support text searching. It may be run simultaneously with the lookup program provided on the CD-ROM.
• Requires Windows 3.1 or Windows 95/98/NT4.
