Great care has been taken to make LOGic 5 as reliable as possible. LOGic 5 incorporates robust disk allocation and update routines that virtually eliminate data lost due to power failure with optional robust buffer flush.
If this is not enough, LOGic 5 also incorporates a Safety Log™ feature which sends a copy of all saved data to a printer or second disk drive. This data is in human-readable format, yet may be imported into LOGic 5 should it become necessary.
LOGic 5 includes a built-in backup and restore facility that will allow most operators to backup their entire log while unattended. Thanks to LOGic 5's advanced data compression, over 40,000 QSOs may be stored on a single 1.44 meg diskette! Multiple disks are supported for larger logs. The backup facility also backs up to hard drives, ZIP drives, and other media.
