LOGic 5 interfaces to various brands and models of computerized radios for remote control of frequency and mode and automatic logging of mode, frequency, and band. Most RS-232-interfaceable Icom, Kenwood, TenTec, Yaesu, and Kachina, as well as other radios are supported.
The rig control panels display current operating status and permit remote control of Frequency, Mode, Step Up/Down, Fine Tune, and if supported by your rig, filter selection, VFO selection A=B, Split, and dual receive. The rig control panels are Windows dockable toolbars.
LOGic 5 supports up to four radios simultaneously. Each radio may be associated with a different log form.
When logging from a computerized rig, LOGic 5 handles specialized modes such as packet or AMTOR that are not on your radio's display panel or mode switch by automatically reverting to manual logging of mode.
Quality hardware RS-232 interfaces for most radios are available at a substantial savings from PDA.
LOGic 5 features a visual frequency/mode memory screen. This screen serves the same purpose as the memories built into your radio, except that an unlimited number of memories, with their frequencies, modes, and notes, are displayed. This is excellent for net operators who wish to maintain a database of net frequencies.
LOGic 5 fully supports TRX-Manager, a sophisticated radio control program for Yaesu radios. Active-X technonogy allows you to use the full capabilities of LOGic's rig interface and FT-Manager simultaneouslty. Check out FT-Manager at http://hosenose.com/trx-manager
