LOGic 5 allows you to create any number of customized
screens. For each screen, you may specify fields to be displayed, as well as the size,
order, and position of each field. Layout modification is easy thanks to the drag-and-drop
interface. This simplifies operating because the screen will not be cluttered with fields
which are not of interest to you. You may tailor a screen for each operating activity,
such as DXing, contesting, county hunting, net operation, or ragchewing. You may choose
which fields are to be automatically filled in with data from the prefix table or previous
QSOs, or specify default values for most fields.
A very powerful and unique feature of LOGic 5 is its customizable browse window. You may select which fields appear, the order in which they appear, and their field size using the mouse or keyboard. See the
introduction for a picture of the browse window. This feature makes network operations a breeze. All check-ins are a mouse click away.LOGic 5 provides an unsurpassed user-defined field facility. You are not limited to a few pre-defined fields. Imagine being able to log whatever you desire. Create as many user-defined fields as you want. Choose up to 10 of these fields to appear on the screen (you may change your selection at any time, or create additional log forms with a different selection of fields). Input to fields used for awards tracking are checked against a list of valid values, and menu selection of values is available.
