Dennis, I was trying to generate a report of my DM contacts (former east germany, the one that's now deleted). You have them all lumped into the Y prefix, and if you look at the prefix table entry, it has DM way at the end. When I run the report as DM, it comes back as null if you put in a date prior to the entity deletion. The entry in the prefix table for the current entity of Germany has the same DM prefix listed. If I try to search for a Y listing, I get the same problem....Will Logic not search on deleted entity?

Doug,
Had no trouble creating the report. My query was
(DXCC='DA' AND QSO_DATE<={^1973-09-16})

93 records in my log.

73s,
Don

Thanks, Don. That wasn't what I was looking for.

Dennis, I think I may have found the problem. In the prefix table, you have the "Y" prefix used twice. In the prefix table, it's listed for the former East Germany, and it's also listed for World Meteorological Org.

Well....removing the dupe Y prefix helped, but didn't fix it all. Now, when do a general log report with DXCC = Y, and the inclusive dates listed in the prefix table Y entry, I get a whole page of unrelated stuff. It includes anything with Y in the prefix - and some stuff from left field like Panama, and none of the East German qso's. Two of those have a DM prefix, and then 15-20 with Y2, Y3, Y4 etc.

Any ideas, Dennis?

Hi Doug:

DXCC="Y" will get Y, YS, etc. Try DXCC="Y " Note the space. Look in Help under Basic Operation => Filtering and Advanced Features => Expressions & Functions.

Tnx/73,

DH
