Still trying to resurrect Logic.

Invalid Modes:

How do I fix that ?

Communications to WSJT-x FT8, getting a Logic error about a port possibly be used by a modem. Don't have a modem, just want to connect like before to my FTdx3000.

How do I fix that ?

On install LOGic recognizes USB, LSB, SSB, and most digital modes. You can add any mode to LOGic by clicking Tools>Setup>Modes
You can make it easy by duplicating one of the SSB modes then changing the Actual Mode to Phone. Same for Data.

LOGic doesn't currently talk to WSJT-X.

If you're using LOGic and trying to open a program that's already using the same comport by another program you'll get a error message.

If you want to connect your FT3000 to LOGic click on Tools>Setup>Misc ham setup, rig, TNC then setup your rig Radio Ifc tab.

If WJST-X supports Omnirig, then check it out

It allows any number of programs to access the same rig simultaneously.

Tnx & 73,
