Dennis,

I have Logic 9 installed to a second computer as a backup. The second computer is completely updated with the latest version.

When I did a backup on the first computer on a thumb drive, then took it over to the second computer and did a restore, the updated QSO's don't show. It appears as if the restore worked (same number of bytes) but the QSO's aren't there. I just asked the restore to append to the old date (which was last updated last June). What have I missed - where are the QSO's

Thanks,
Ron

Sorry, I missed this post.

Strange.

Here is how you can look at the raw restore data. Restore it, but select DO NOTHING WITH THE DATA. There will be LOG.DBF and LOG.FPT inside the tmp folder where LOGic is installed. Typically C:\Program Files (x86)\LOGic\tmp\Log.DBF

Go to tools/advanced/database commands. Type
USE ("C:\Program Files (x86)\LOGic\tmp\Log.DBF")
(or copy and paste that command)

You will get an error about a missing cdx file. Just repeat the command. Now type BROWSE.

Send me a copy of the backup -- you can zip and post here, or email it to me, and I will check it. Or call me 770-307-1496.

Again, I apologize for my delay on this.
