Since most of my operating is FT8, I would like to make that the default mode.

Someone told me how to do that some time ago and since I am still recovering from a hard disk crash, I need that instruction repeated.

Thanks,
Bill

Hi Bill,
I understand that you have restored your Logic9 in the new hard disk. At least you added FT8 in the SETUP MODE?

Right -- make sure FT8 is in the modes table. If you reinstalled with the latest update, it will have FT8 there.

Now, go to the rig setup in tools/setup/misc ham setup, and enter the modes returned by your radio.

Next, go to Log/Setup/Defaults. Select MODE. The expression is
"FT8"

Let me know if any questions.

Tnx & 73,
