Hello Dennis,

I recently moved Logic 9 to a new computer. I installed 9.1 and renewed the Update subscription. I then installed the 9.1.21 update. Now, when I click on Check for Updates under Help, it tells me that my subscription expired on 8/19/17. What am I doing wrong?

Peter,
When you renew, you will get an email with a private link to a LOGic setup file customized with your license info. It's usually the most recent version. You must install that version on top of your existing installation. You can run the Help->About and check. You should then run the Updater and check the license expiration date there.

It sounds like you installed your original LOGic 9 installation, not the last update subscription you received. The last update subscription becomes your new full LOGic install.

If you still have LOGic running on the old computer, copy LOGIC.LICENSE from the old computer to the new, then check for updates as W2ZI advises. LOGic.License is located in the LOGic install folder, typically
c:\program files (x86)\logic.

Here is the recommended way to transfer everything:

Enjoy the new computer.

Tnx & 73,
