Hello Dennis,
I created a new logform for Italian award (ARI 90yeas).
Can I put in the prefix table 103 separate HQ Stations names and assign each a SASC90 value (ex. SASC90:R20ARI2)?
This value must automatically fill the SASC90 field, created in the logform for this award, when I insert one of 103 HQ callsign. Thank you

Hi Mauro:

Is there a one-to-one relationship between HQ stations and SASC90 values? If so, I recommend using the Memberships feature. Let me know and I will get back to you promptly and advise on how to proceed. If they are on a web page somewhere, they can probably be imported.

It COULD be done using the prefix table. That is how VE PROV is logged for instance. But this sounds more like a memberships thing.

Tnx & 73,

Hi Dennis,
in the Ninenty Years ARI award there is a relationship between HQ and SASC values. Every HQ station has a different code.
I'm sorry but i dont know how to use the Memberships features.
This is what i have done:
I have the entire HQ list in excel and make also the database file to import in the list of valid value as SASC90.
I tried to insert in the prefix table some of the HQ station calls and add in the comment the string as SASC90:R90ARI2|.
Logging that calls the SASC90 field in the logform is filled ok, but to insert all the calls is a very heavy work.
If necessary i will do. Can i import data by ascii or excel file into prefix table database?
You told me Memberships features as recommended option. I would like to know what i can do with memberships function.
Can you help me? You need my SASC90 dbf? Let me know.
Thanks & 73's

You can import Excel into memberships, not the prefix table. The memberships is much simpler. Send me the excel file (attach here preferably) and I will import it into the memberships table and advise on how to use it.

Hi Dennis,
thanks for replay and help.
Yes here attached the excel file where the HQ stations and relative SASC code are listed for the Regions operating the Award in the March 2017 (begin date).
Every month there are two italian regions for total 20 and the end will be on December 2017.
In the next month i have to edit the new excel file to import in the memberships list.
Let me know the procedure to make, in the future, a fine job to import this data and i will delete all the mods make in the prefix table inserting one by one the HQ call stations.
Thanks in advance Dennis.

Ok, sorry so long. Here it is. Go to tools/setup/memberships. Click IMPORT. Select the file you downloaded: SASC90.DBF.

GO to tools/setup/log fields. Locate your SASC90 field. Go to the MEMBERSHIPS tab. Checkmark where it says MEMBERSHIP. Click ALWAYS COPY.

Let me know if any questions.

Thank you for preparing this data.
