We have had reports of difficulty in selecting a COM port in LOGic 9. Apparently the down-arrow on the right side of the COM port field is not displaying. Click around that area where the arrow should be and, according to reports, the drowdown will appear. Click the help button on the radio interface setup page to see how it should look.

We do not know of a solution at this time. It happens on relatively few machines. If you experience this problem, please post here, and try upgrading your video driver and let me me know if that helps or not.

Problem here connecting to K3 with the Kenwood interface. Baud is set to 38,400. I get "Error 1426 "OLE error code 0x8002000e: Out of present range." has occured in program. KENWOOD_850.INIT, Line 42. Attempt to continue?

Select "YES"

Then I get: Error 107 "Operator/operand type mismatch." has occured in program KENWOOD_850.INIT, line 46. Attempt to continue?

Select "YES"

I get a COM PORT USAGE window.

Selct COM 4 (current CAT port)

Click "OK"

I get main log form, nothing else.

Select "Reset radio interfaces" I get first error message again.

Back to LOGic 8 until resolved. Dennis please advise.

See here.

The new Kenwood driver not working is not related to the problem addressed in my initial post to this thread. Use the legacy interface.

Tnx &73,
