Just did a Windows 7 update this morning, now LOGic won't start, and crashes during start. I get the message: "LOGIC.exe has stopped working. Windows is checking for a solution to the problem...".

I rebooted the computer several times and did a "Clean" in LOGic (each time it crashed). Error message occurs immediately after the Clean process.

Should I do a restore or reinstall LOGic?

HP Computer Running Windows 7 (Home Premium, I believe).

Thanks,

Should I reinstall logic and apply latest update, or try something else like deleting or renaming certain files first?

Hi Allen:

Sorry for the problem. Not sure what is going on here.

I think the reinstall is the way to go at this point. To make it easier, I will send you a complete new install of .70. Just install on top of what is there -- it won't change any of your data or setup. Don't uninstall yet -- if this doesn't fix it, then we'll take it from there.

Check your email in about an hour.

Tnx & 73,

Thinking ahead, if that doesn't fix it, the next area of suspect is a bad USB=>RS232 adapter or driver. The crash seems to be happening in Windows, not LOGic itself. To disable the radios and rotors without being able to run the program, delete or rename radio9.ini and rotor9.ini

Dennis,

Reload of program did not work, LOGic is still crashing as soon as it starts. I also renamed radio9.ini and rotor9.ini and still same outcome, LOGic crashes as soon as it tries to start. I need another suggestion please!
