I go to each of the log entry them and make the corrections i.e. canadian provence , jcc #, band or mode etc. when i do a new update THE ORIGINAL EXCEPTION STILL REMAINS although the log entry has been corrected. what to do..???????? why doesnt the exception list recognize my correction thanks w4qnw

Post a screen shot of an error and the associated QSO on the log screen, and maybe I'll see something. Or send me a backup of your log. One thing that might fix mode errors, but wouldn't explain the others. The size of the mode field in the log table and modes table could have gotten changed and out of sync. Go to tools/misc utilities/change size of log fields. Increase the size of Mode by One. Save. This will change the size of the mode table to match the log table. See if that fixes it. Now, you can decrease the size by one to put ot back the way it was if you want. Tnx & 73, DH
