I am running Windows 7/64 bit. I have installed Update56 for Logic9. I am running a SIIG USB to 8 serial port interface box. It installs as Com 32 through 39. Logic9 shows Com32 through 39 as "available" However, when I try to install various devices, Rotator, Radio, etc... LOgic9 will not control them.

How shall I proceed from this point?

Hi Dave:

Do you get any error messages, or does LOGic just do nothing when supposedly writing to the port?

Get the latest drivers.

Did it work before? If so, what version of Windows and LOGic? Does it work with other software? Try a loopback test.

Does it look OK in the Windows Device Manager?

Let me know.

Tnx & 73,

This issue is resolved. I was *finally* able to get the USB to Serial box installed so that the ports were numbered from 1 through 9, skipping 3. LOGic was able to recognize those port slots and now I can configure all of my rotators and radios to operate with LOGic control. I'm sure this had NOTHING to do with LOGic. It was a fight with Windows 7/64 and the USB to Serial box I have.

73,

Dave
