Hi!
I upgraded and am having trouble with my user defined fields from v8. Everything was working fine there. When I installed v9 I imported a backup of the log. I also copied the data folder so that my field and screen setup would be setup like v8. However, none of the user fields are populated with data, although I know the data is there and all works fine in v8. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Ok, you shouldn't copy the whole DATA or LOGDATA folder. The file structure is different. Fortunately there isn't much in DATA that was hurt. Just the prefix table and callbook. However, I would delete the contents of the DATA folder then reinstall LOGic 9 just to be safe.

Now, just copy your .logform file across. It is in the logdata\logforms folder. You will have to re-add your user-defined field setup in tools/setup/log fields. If this is the case you will be notified when you open your LOGic 8 log form in LOGic 9.

Let me know the specifics and we can proceed from there.

Tnx & 73,

Dennis,
That did it. Just a reinstall and only moving .logform. Thanks!
